About Vice President
At Diversified Staff, Kong Xiong serves as the Vice President. He is in charge of recruiting, marketing and all other daily tasks.
Work history
Prior to Diversified Staff, he worked for a printed circuit board company from 1980 to 1996 as a technician, then promoted to a process engineer.
Besides designing test fixtures, training, and providing technical supports in his department, he suggested and implemented cost saving ideas that the company nominated him as one of the great performers in 1984, and gave him a "trip for two" to Florida for a week. He wrote most procedures in his department for ISO 9000 certification. He was also responsible for selecting test equipment, then recommended upper management for automation reducing test time from eight hours to 10 seconds per circuit board.
Self taught Macro 11 programming language at his own time at home, he modified software at work to reduce machine programming time from 10 hours to five minutes per part number. He alo self taught programming C language at home, then wrote routing software to reduce the design of (transgrid) CAD data for test fixture from 40 hours to five minutes per design on a PC with 100 Mhz at that time.

Why is he here in the USA?
Due to his father's involvement with the US government in the Vietnam war, after the CIA pulled out from Vietnam, he escaped from Laos to Thailand in 1975 along with his mother and three sisters. He came to the United States in March 17, 1977 with his uncle who served as an interpreter for the US government.
